BTC Round 2
Kinlochleven.

Jack Challoner was looking to build on his steady result from the first round, but unfortunately it was not to be. Two maximums on the first two hazards didn’t help his momentum, concluding in a bad first lap of 42. The second circuit was to prove much better with Jack riding much nearer his usual standard for a lap of 27. The final lap was not to continue in the same vain though, with 7 fives, 4 cleans and a dab. This lap emphasised what sort of day Jack was having and he ended up in a disappointing 7th place, two marks behind Sam Haslam and 12 behind team mate Alezx Wigg.

“I just couldn’t get flowing at all in the today’s event, the story of the day was just too many fives. I now need to use what I have learned from my first two Championship class outings and work hard in preparation for the first World round in Ireland. Thanks to the Lochaber Club for a brilliant event, and thanks to my Dad for minding..  see you in Ireland.”
